Wing Shooting in the North of Argentina is unlike wingshooting anywhere else. The variety is vast, the volume great and the land wild. Eared dove, spotted and Turk pigeon, and dozens of different species of ducks, and partridge are abundant in our hunting areas. This is bird shooting like it was many years ago for traveling sportsmen. The only difference is that this is NOW. No visa is required for US citizens and citizens of the EU to travel to Argentina. Bringing guns into the country is very simple and hassle free. See our home page for information on this.
Duck Season is open from May to the end of October. Perdiz is hunted over our excellent kurzhaars and pointers and the season runs from May 1 to August 17. The Argentine perdiz is very similar to a Hungarian partridge. Dove and pigeon season is open all year. Combination hunts for all species are our specialty.
Our prices include lodging, food and drink, transport to and from the airport, license, and dogs for perdiz shooting, and tips are INCLUDED in our pricing. We serve wine or beer with meals and water soft drinks and beer in the field.
Not included in the daily fees are:
-HARD DRINKS SUCH AS WHISKEY (AVAILABLE AT THE BAR)
-LAUNDRY SERVICE (AVAILABLE)
-SHELLS ($13 A BOX for dove and $15/ box for pigeon duck and perdiz)
-AIRFARE
-GUN TAX AT CUSTOMS (300 PESOS PER GUN)
Our daily fees(US dollars) are:
Perdiz shooting days $700
Duck shooting days $700
Pigeon shooting days $500
Dove shooting days $300
Half days are charged at full rate so we suggest you coordinate to arrive and depart with a day to spare on each end. This will not only get you full days of shooting but also make the traveling more relaxed in case of unexpected delays with the airline schedules.
Lodging is now in country hotels near the best shooting or beginning in 2011 we will offer the option to set up our trailer camps to be near the best shooting when necessary. This system allows us to minimize travel times and take advantage of the greatest untouched shooting that is too far from towns to use traditional lodging.
Limit on ducks is 40 a day, dove no limit, perdiz 30 a day, pigeon no limit. An average pigeon shooting day will yield bags of over 100 pigeons for a 50% shooter. Duck limits are easily reached by the average shooter as well as perdiz. Dove is a plague and numbers are astounding, the only limit is your own endurance.
